You have some really interesting styles in photography. I especially like your architecture in black and white. I'm adding you to watch if you dont mind? x
:iconcaram3l:
oh! i love your photos of the old asylum! they're beautiful! And i'm so jealous that you were able to get inside the buildings, i have yet to do that. I now work in Building 50, which is in the process of being restored. but the whole grounds are under construction and its just hideous!

You work in Building 50? Can you go around in the building or to the other buildings? Do you work in that coffee house there? I read they opened one in Bldg. 50. Aren't there tunnels underneath that lead to the other buildings? I got in a few buildings when they had the auction like 6 years ago. Then they opened it for tours I think 4 years ago, that's where I got the interior shots. Drove up from Rochester Hills by myself that time, live in Vegas now, no architecture like that here!
:iconcaram3l:
yes- i work IN building 50.
yes- I can go around the building-very secretly though... even though all i have to do is walk up the stairs. the contracted gets pissed if he catches any one up there.
no- I do not work in the coffee house. they are currently putting a restaurant called Trattoria Stella in the south side of building 50. Which is the Men's "deeply Disturbed" ward. Although the restarant is located in the lower level, which was storage.
Yes- There are tunnels underneigth--I don;t know how to access them..

The architecture is amazing! I'm so surprised that something that old could be that beautiful, and still standing without any past renovations.

I'm a hostess at the restaurant. but until it opens i just do grunt work for 10.00$ an hour to help them get open.
